FUT PRIZE MONEYAnybody know how much prize money there is and how many rings have been sold
Re: FUT PRIZE MONEYDONT THINK ITS BEEN PUBLISHED ANYWHERE, I FEEL THERE IS ALWAYS A LACK OF GETTING TO KNOW ANYTHING FROM THE BIGGEST RACE OF THE SEASON.
KEITH Re: FUT PRIZE MONEYBeen on the NEHU site theres nothing on yet, just thought there might have been an estimated prize on the amount of rings sold excluding pools
Re: FUT PRIZE MONEYWITH BIG MONEY TO FLY FOR YOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD BE SHOUTING IT FROM THE ROOF TOPS.
KEITH Re: FUT PRIZE MONEYI am sure they could of advertised last years payout just to generate early interest.
Re: FUT PRIZE MONEY
shhh its a secret ...........dont want the members to know ..........lol 3 year and it wont be happening ! Re: FUT PRIZE MONEYplenty of people look on the nehu website so you would of thought they would of published the results and totals of the breeder buyer sales even just to generate more intrest in the race ............this race needs bringing into the 21st century
last 2 year i had them posted to me and i put them on the websites ...........this year nowt ........ i know dr tim lovell looks in on the pigeon sites and him being the chief of this race i hope he lets his committee know that the members (who are the purchasers of the rings ) would like to see a bit more information and updates Re: FUT PRIZE MONEYAttended a Meeting to sort out the Fut Marking Stations yesterday and gleaned the following info about the prize money whilst there. NB These figures may not be exact but they will be close.
Rings sold to each section were; Sect. 1 431rings Sect 2 928 rings Sect 3 1283 rings Sect 4 246 rings Total rings sold 2888 at £10 each = £28,880; Race expenses such as Transport to racepoint and race requisites will be deducted from this then the prize pot will be devided 70% to open prizes (Approx £19,500) and 30% to Section prizes (approx £8,500) The Breeder/Buyer Auctions raised approx. £14,000, there may be some auction expenses to be taken from this. Open and Section Pools on the day I am estimating at around £7,000 so my guess at the total prize money for the race is £53,360. PS The section prize money is devided pro rata of the rings purchased in each section. Hope this helps give people some idea what we are racing for on Monday, like I said earlier these figures may not be exact as a lot was discussed at this meeting and I only had time to make a few rushed notes but there is no doubt that the race is a great success once again, all we want now is a good racing day on Monday.
