This will hopefully be the home page of not only myself, Harry Chappell, but when we start to race, I will be able to keep everyone up to date with what is going on in my own club. The club I race with is Easington Lane Homing Society flying in the Hetton Fed.This is a brilliant idea and well done to Admin.

We in our club have had a massive upheavel by losing our 2 great officials, the Secretary Derek Mills who has retired for health reasons, and our treasurer Lorna Harker also through health reasons.Both posts have been taken and we can only wish our new people the best of luck.

All the official posts have been successfully filled and the clocks all 3 way tested, so now we await the big kick off, which hopefully starts tomorrow.The first race from Selby,why it is now called Bubwith after 50 odd years is beyond me,should see a big turn out as there is some big team lofts in our club, so l am looking forward to posting the first result.

The first race is as usual from Bubwith(Selby)and the result is 16 lofts sent 453 birds and the lad who wins it does it in style by timing in an all pooler and a 2 bird nom just to make sure, well done to him.Anyway result is 1st Ronnie Johnson 1480 2nd K & P Moore 1475,also an all pooler and 2 bird nom,3rd P & K Metcalfe 1462,4th W.Ball & Sons 1458,5th Elliott & Burnside 1452.7, 6th J & C Greaves 1452.06.
